Geogard ECT

Geogard ECT is a broad-spectrum cosmetic preservation system designed to help protect personal care formulations against microbial contamination caused by bacteria, yeast, and mold. Its INCI composition is Benzyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Glycerin, and Sorbic Acid. It is suitable for a wide variety of skincare, haircare, and cosmetic formulations and performs across a pH range of approximately 3–8. The commonly recommended use level is 0.6–1.0%, subject to formulation requirements and preservation testing.
